Lic expiry? update?
« on: February 11, 2008, 06:23:16 PM »
sorry if this is the wrong venue in which to post this, but it is a support question of sorts ;)

Just the other day I noticed that my Morgana license had expired...meant to address that sooner, but now I see that there is an update as well!

I tried entering my e-mail and host (Live 6... because I believe it was L6 that i used when beta-testing. L7 was not out yet...)

at any rate, the website did not recognize me :(

...and I just tried to send the above notes to Claude at the e-mail address from which I originally received my lic and download information... but my mail was returned -
so
this is why I'm bringing it up here  ;)
can you guys help me out?

Hmmm, it definitely wasn't our intention to ditch you!  ;)

I'm not sure why you didn't get a permanent license in the first place, might be a matter of simple mistake.   I'll send it to the address listed in your profile here, let me know if you didn't receive it.  Will also check why you don't have access to the update.  Give me two minutes!

Edit: can you PM me your real name to make the license out to?  Thx!

It seems I have the same problem here as well. ???  I haven't used Morgana for a bit...then I heard about the 1.1 update via the KVR newsletter....and it prompted me to check the version # on my present version but I couldn't get the GUI to take the original NFR license I recieved from you guys. So that's odd.....I guess I need a new one as well.

Hehe!  I'm 110% certain it will... and in the unlikely event of those -10% you'll know where to find me!  ;)

Good, now how do I download the 1.1 update?  The download section won't take my email address.

quik note- dj! THANKS very much for helping me with the license issue and providing the update link ... as I'm still seeing weirdness in that the downloads page is not accepting my e-mail address from either of my studio computers...however, I *am* able to log into the downloads section from my work computer (which is what I am *supposed* to be doing right now...rather than playing ;D) I don't know under what name the site stores the cookie for the download section, but I've deleted my 112db cookies and whatnot...and while I can log into the forum from my studio computers, I cannot get to the download section from either...
really don't know what is different from them and my work unit. Though they're aLL set to accept cookies, my work computer is set up with more protection than either of my others!
weird.
Thanks again for your patience, dj!

howdy GB!  (....waves crazily...) ;D
....looks like yer seeing the same exact problems I am!

Hi

I seem to have the same problem :
- I have upgraded to Morgana 1.1, and now the licence says it has expired.
- I have replied to the email which sent me the link to my NFR version1 (it was Claude's email adress), and it has been 5 days now without any answer...

Is it possible to do something ?
THank you !
Cheers
