I LOVE this plugin. But I have a serious problem.

The plug-in was working fine for 2 weeks.

I purchased a copy.


and now, suddenly, it stopped working!

everything else in my Pro Tools 8 LE system works. even the Redline Reverb works just fine.

I don't understand...everytime I open an instance of the Big Blue Limiter, it doesn't work! and not only that, it also Crashes my Pro Tools! so I have to restart my program everytime.

I don't understand what's going on.

Alright, this is a REALLY BIG problem for me now. I can't even Open my Pro Tools Sessions that have the Big Blue Limiter on.

without the Pro Tools Crashing.


How can I fix this?

I've tried re-installing several times.

Do I HAVE to re-install pro tools?

First a few questions:

* Are you on Windows or OS X?
* Do you get any error messages?
* Is there a crash log you could send us?
* What happens when you remove the limiter and start a session?

And something to try: it might be an idea to delete the Digidesign Databases, preferences and DAE Prefs and see if that helps. How to do this depends on your operating system. You can find the information you need in the Digidesign Protools Troubleshooting Guide, pages 20/21.

-I am on an Apple Mac OS X (Mac Pro 3.33 GHz 6-core Intel Xeon)
Mac OS X 10.6.6


* Do you get any error messages?

-no error message until After ProTools Crashes and closes (by itself, suddenly)
then I get an Apple Error Message: "Pro Tools has quit unexpectedly" blah blah blah


* Is there a crash log you could send us?

-I will Send you the Crash Log Soon (because I have already DELETED "Big Blue Limiter", and everything runs fine)



* What happens when you remove the limiter and start a session?

-When I remove the Plugin and start sessions, There's Absolutely No problem. Everything works fine.
So I am SURE that the Big Blue Limiter is the problem. I've even re-downloaded the install file, and tried re-installing Big Blue Limiter several times. To No Avail.
