Mikron Crusher gives you an easy way to add a little of the charm of the samplers from the 80s by reducing bit depth and sample rate. 'Wabi-sabi' as the Japanese call it: a small imperfection will make something much more interesting. Or use it to destroy your sound completely, if that's more your cup of tea. Destruction can be definitively constructive, we would say. The controls are simple, the algorithm behind it isn't.

First 4 bars are clean. The second 4 bars are with Mikron Crusher. The third 4 bars Mikron Chorus has been added. In the fourth 4 bars Mikron Reverb has been added too

First 4 half clean. After that different variations of Mikron Crusher have been applied.

First half is clean (sawtooth). The second half with Mikron Crusher to get a 'talking sawtooth' effect.
